A major Telecommunications Company The need: To update their IT infrastructure. The background: Before HP, the company had several vendors and several different
architectures. Together with HP, they streamlined the system and empowered the
smaller teams and end users. The solution: Since then, ZCS has provided the company with HP systems; these
included over 50 high-end HP Unix servers for applications like SAP and Oracle. With
this infrastructure, the company tracks its landline and mobile billing and, most
recently, its Wi-Fi services.
Zayani Computer Systems’ Customer Care Center also plays an important role with
their clients. With 20 employees it provides over-the-phone support, sales support,
and on-site technical support for the full range of HP products. The Center always has a
certified staffer available to help answer questions and solve problems.
One of the largest local banks The need: To update the Bank’s online services and monitor them centrally with minimum intervention. At the same time, they aimed to launch a marketing campaign for a host of new banking services to stay ahead of their competition and sought a solution through which they could monitor the response of their online customers. The background: Stiff competition was faced as ZCS was up against incumbent IBM and Computer Associates. The solution: Zayani was able to demonstrate the superiority of HP’s OpenView-based solution and proved that it was the right fit for the broad range of services. With it they could track their various systems such as ATMs (automatic teller machines), credit cards and teller systems, all of which helped them with their customer responses and support during online transactions.
A major national airline The need: The Bahrain-based airline needed to upgrade their systems to a scalable, single- platform system and needed a solution with a long-term view. The background: The airline already had Oracle applications in place and needed a system that would integrate and upgrade simultaneously and seamlessly. The solution: Zayani Computer Systems showed the carrier the value HP adds as a trusted single source. Another advantage was the partnership between ZCS and Oracle. Our focus was on the consolidation of their servers under one platform and we ensured that the system was scalable, helping them to consolidate all applications. |
